Big Request

Post by LatTolly »

DEAR MATES!
Being a Warriors fan is wonderful!!!
I am a WW fan for more than 5 years now. But I live in Riga, so I dont have an opportunity to live 100% Warriors life. But I am proud to be Warrior, especially here in Latvia, where our Championship, called Virsliga, is very low, but majority of Latvians don't support rugby, but I find this sport very interesting, sport for real men. I watch some Wigan Games here in Riga in our local Pub, where is Sky Sports.
The only thing I don't have here as a fan is a Wigan T-shirt or Scarf. I cant get it in Baltic states, and it is very expensive to come to Wigan to watch game or to buy something connected with Warriors.

So I have a Big request to all of you mates. If someone have needless old Warriors t-shirt or scarf I would be very happy to receive it. It would be very nice!

To contact me, you can either write me private message on this site or to my e-mail, which you can find in my profile here.

Thank you anyway!!!

PS- Brett Dallas and Sean Gleeson are the best!!!

If I had enough money to buy kits and other, I would not have written this request.
For example, new kits price is 35 pounds. In Latvia our average salary per month is around 200. For this money person should pay 100 for flat, and something to eat. And that is all.

You will not believe, isnt it. Unfortunatelly, it is our reality.

cheers

I've got one of the old big Warriors flags you can have, something to stick on the wall or the back window of a car. I was using it to cover a wall but it is itself now covered by extra bookshelves for my book addiction, so I've no more use for it. My email address is on my profile if you're interested.

I guess I forgot to include "free of charge because I'm nice" in my earlier offer...

Hello. Good to here from you. You are right about rugby league being a great sport. It is THE best sport in the world. The people are friendly and the arguments are great. We are a community that I am proud to a part of and would not change it for the world. I can recommend two other wigan websites.

The top one is a Wigan general chat forum. It would be great if you could register and we all can ask you questions about you native land. See you there.

Can I recommend you quote your sources on your other website Ant, I notice you'd copied our Latvian friend's posts from here onto your site without giving this place any credit http://www.wiganforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3829. Remember the (C)opywrite symbol at the bottom of the page, we wouldn't want to have you accused of stealing from other websites...
