Just heard that chris joint was asked to play at fullback at sts for a game as basil thought he needed the practise at catching bombs ,is theory is that if you cant do it hell put you in a position so you have to do it.His ambition is to have a multiskiled squad .were any player can play any postion.Think he just needs to consantate on putting moran at scrum half so he can learn that posistion  think that must explain why he put brownie in the pack ,cant wait till feka plays stand off ,mind you he did scoot a few balls last week :conf:

I was of the opinion that Calderwood, a player I have never rated, was a Lindsay signing. If I am wrong, I will change my score from 3 - 1 to 3 - 2.
Ah, you could be right. I'd forgotten about Logan, which is a bit unfair as he's been playing pretty well. Certainly between him and Feka we've had more impact from the props than we've seen for quite a long time.

I'm also hoping for more from Higham, I always thought he was quite an effective foil for lardyboy at Saints, but so far he's not showing as well as Godwin for us.

God, how frustrated are we all? Time to look on the bright side again. A morale boosting victory on Sunday by any score, after Saints have knocked hell out of the Bulls (before losing!) tonight, then we go to Bradford next week and squeak by their weakened team. How does that sound? Probably sounds like I've been on the mushrooms, but I've got to keep my spirits up somehow.

Jimmy I spiked your tea a couple of weeks ago so that explains some of your over optimistic anti pessimistic posts recently

I agree with an awful lot that Dave O says.I dared to utter words of opposition to Millward on this site and was roundly critised.I was told to give him a chance.Well our season is effectively over for another transition year. Some people need to take off thier blinkers and see Millward for the tinkering coach he is.Getting rid of Newton was a major mistake, we get Higham who isn't a patch on godwin.Great player selection there! but of course the wizard knows better! and i won't even mention Kevin Brown. If we lose at Cas it is time for him to go.

Time for him to go? I suppose you'd like DaveO to run the team. :(

EDIT: BTW you will agree with an awful lot of what he says because he always says an awful lot!!

Logan hasnt performed neither has Micky Higham. In fact the later has been severly outplayed by Wagga. Our signings for the last 2-3 years have all been underachievers. They all come over playing very well and deserve the hype but just dont play well for us.

I know we say well thats the coaches fault to get them playing well but it the players who ultimately play well or bad.

When I played I knew when I got out of bed wether or not I could be arsed or was really up for it.

Ultimately the coach carries the can but I think he should drop half the underachievers and play with academay players at leat then we wouldnt moan. I for 1 wouldnt care if DV was dropped for goulding or Jerry was dropped or even Mopran and Orr for the young lads.
