Toby King has spent the season at Wigan Warriors

Warrington Wolves appear all but certain to recall Toby King next year after the RFL outlined the new salary cap proposals that are in place. King, who is on a season-long loan at Wigan Warriors, has enjoyed an impressive campaign that saw him called up to the England squad earlier this year.

But the Super League leaders now appear set to bring him back to the Halliwell Jones Stadium in 2024 as the new rulings will see him cost just £50,000 on their salary cap next year. When King signed a new deal with Warrington in 2021 he became one of their marquee players. That contract remains in place until the end of 2025, meaning he is contracted for another two years with the club.
