Re: Tiaki chan
He didn’t look too bad to be fair. He’s an improvement on Ramon Silva
Re: Tiaki chan
He ran at 8 metres a carry last night and put himself about in defence. It was what, a 15-20 minute spell at most? In that short amount of time I thought he showed a bit of what he’s about.
I wouldn’t get carried away with him either way, I don’t think he’ll have been brought in to be a starter and will be fighting for a spot with guys like Hill and Nsemba. I also wouldn’t be hung up on his size. Catalans played him through the middle but we might not. I do think he’ll prove a shrewd bit of business over time. I think in terms of energy and attitude, he may be viewed as a long term replacement for Isa.

Nope it's not, but I replied to what you said and it kind of debunks your theorynathan_rugby wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 5:06 pmThis thread isn’t about him.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:44 pmSam Walters is 6'6 and 18 stonenathan_rugby wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:53 am We are obsessed with signing under sized project forwards.

Granted Chan and Walters may come through, what we are lacking is proven experience and not project players.
Cooper, Mago, Ellis - they are our 3 most experienced props for next year. This is my issue and point.
We have Havard, Byrne and Hill as our younger props…
There’s an imbalance imo.

Re: Tiaki chan
It needs sorting and fingers crossed it will be. The club are being quite open in saying ‘there’s more to come’ regards new players. We need an experienced prop and an experienced second rower, to add to Keighran (and the 3 announced already). If we can start the season with an experienced prop, Byrne, Ellis, Havard and Walters in a 5 prop rotation, that will do for me, especially with Cooper to come back. I very much doubt Mago will be here.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 5:54 pmIt doesn’t because we have…Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 5:39 pmNope it's not, but I replied to what you said and it kind of debunks your theory
