I'd rather take their word for how good a leader he is, how infectious his energy and enthusiasm is and how he keeps them motivated, over some people on a forum who have never spent any real amount of time with him, let alone worked with/for him
Do you know anyone?
I’d be interested in what they say as I think the club is run as a nice club, a respectable club but I only see it as a fan.

KR can only work with the budget he’s given and he isn’t the only man who gets a say on the signings. The signs in regards retention and recruitment for next year look extremely positive. The connection between the club and the fans is being driven by him and Peet and the classy touches the club constantly shows around opposition players milestones, charity events etc are lead by him. Is he perfect? No, nobody is but I tell you what, we could do far worse. If you want to look at the type of CE we could be lumbered with instead, have a look over Warrington way. That is an absolute car crash!

I personally hope Rads is here for a good while yet and back him, Wane, Peet and co to get us back in front of St Helens (and whoever else).
The signings for next year are positive but you'd have to have your head in the sand not to see these are of a different standard to signing players like Thornley and others that have been made over recent seasons. The same applies to those rumoured to be leaving the club. In the past it has given out new deals to players who should be retiring or who when they got to the end of their contracts should have just been let go.

Radlinski has been in the thick of all that it and our recruitment and retention has been a major reason why we have played second fiddle to Saints so some of the blame at least must stick to him given his job title is CEO and what that is supposed to entail. We went years without two centres and only got King because Wire couldn't git him under their cap. We were also offered Cooper and didn't actively recruit him when we really needed a prop like him. There is a long list of recruitment cock-ups.

The press release Radlinski put out by him detailing the Bateman saga was unbelievably unprofessional not least because it described the total fiasco surrounding his exit blow by blow. A litany of excuses from start to finish.

So for me there is plenty of evidence he is right out of his depth and what state Warrington are in is not an endorsement of Radlinski.

As to the "the classy touches the club constantly shows around opposition players milestones" that is just soft and needs to stop.

I have seen the exact opposite posted elsewhere that plenty of staff at the DW do not like IL & Rads one bit.

I agree I’d be genuinely surprised if he goes anywhere, let be honest here he was made CEO from January I’d presume the sales talks with Danson where on going at that point so I’d assume he’d have to at least agree in principal to him getting the job.

Well said, I’m sick of all the disparaging remarks about Kris, Mr Lenagan, the coaches & players!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Danson was already 25% shareholder at that point so I'm sure he had some involvement in the decision. He's not going to get rid of Kris Radlinksi. He'll have a similar opinion of him as Ian Lenagan I would imagine.

I do think fans put the blame for everything negative on Radlinski and never give him credit for any positives that have happened while he's been in charge.

I've been massively critical of him for various things in the past. The 2017 salary cap breach, the reaction to the spate of drink drive incidents after we signed Hardaker, the statement after selling Bateman originally which Bateman then had to correct, some poor recruitment decisions, are a few examples. There have certainly been a few issues, but personally I think part of the problem is that he was given too much too soon.

You expect that people will make mistakes and you also hope they improve and I think things have been going in the right direction. It seems like Shaun Wane is a little more involved in recruitment and Matt Peet has been able to get the signings he wants too, so it seems like KR has realised some of the shortcomings when it comes to recruitment. It's also worth pointing out that recruitment is far from easy. Our weakness in terms of recruitment has mainly been recruiting props and we're not the only club that has struggled with this.

I don't know how he goes about his day to day job away from the stuff that directly impacts the rugby we see but I've only ever heard positive things in that regard.

Rads has Mike Danson’s full backing, he has been instructed to sign the players needed. The only problem is the salary cap not the money.

Danson had 49% of the Club’s shares. Rads is going nowhere.

Stuff I get told though not first hand re Rads is positive, is everything going to be happy campers all the time? no, could the odd thing be done better, with hindsight definitely. I'm looking forward with more positivity because some of the tedious time consuming stuff re the stadium, money wise and so on is now not going to be taking so much valuable time.
