VAR and the TV review in Superleague

Not much difference in their ability to get the wrong decision?

at least we can hear what they are looking at, and whilst we may disagree with the clear / obvious error to overturn the on field ref decision, it does appear to be better than football at the minute

how can you send something up, the VAR thinks to check the goal, review complete, onfield decision stands (or whatever they've been making all the noise about), but the on field linesman had put his flag up for offside
the lack of communication is a farce, especially when they have hundreds of millions of pounds riding on league position etc.
but to top if off, the ref though it was a goal, and didnt think to double check with VAR

i've said before re football, offside rule is a farce at the minute. they should use the feet of both players, not finger nails, hair, backsides etc. If an attacking player is making a forward run, but the defender is pushing out, both body positions are in the complete opposite direction, so the only true measure for me should be the feet. If the feet are offside, then fair enough, but if its an arm (which they cant use to touch the ball by the way - so a real element of irony when the disallow goals for an arm being in front) it should be play on

and another point, recently the VAR refs have come out and said they dont like to chuck their mates to the lions by overturning their decisions, even if it was clearly wrong on the pitch. WTF??? the whole point of introducing video into all sports now, is to ensure that the correct decisions are made. There will always be a decision or 2 that you could still argue with camera angles etc etc, but on the whole, they shouldnt get something wrong as they did at weekend
