Warriors win Grand Final
Re: Warriors win Grand Final
Thought Keighran was lucky to stay on the field after his high shot in the second half given his previous sin-binning.

I said exactly the same thing. Catalan got away with a few. The one against Miski early in the game was especially bad IMO
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

What a daft thing for him to say. It basically means he thinks in semi finals and finals it’s OK to turn players over so their head is driven into the ground.

Referees have received criticism this season but, for me, they got the majority of the decisions right in the GF. That type of tackle has been dealt with by issuing yellow or red cards all season and it was the correct thing to do on this occasion.

A good ref will take defences back 11-12 yards to keep the game flowing( which he did mostly).I had to correct a bloke behind me when he kept shouting offside.Afterwards he said good spot and realised it was correct.Possibly not a proper league fan.who knows

Re that Guardian report: I'm not sure Liam Farrell and Sam Tomkins are 'life-long friends'. I mean, I don't know either personally, but that's not the impression I get.
