Miski
Saw a rumour on another site that the injury Abbas picked up in the final is a serious one and he'll miss the start of next season. Can anybody confirm or deny? Would be a shame after such a great season but I suppose we do have cover with Douglas/Eckersley.

Between 3 & 6 months depending how bad it is & how quickly it’s treated.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 9:10 pmIn that case recovery would take up to three months.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Miniscus is like a cartilage and they don’t need six months to heal.josie andrews wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 10:08 pmBetween 3 & 6 months depending how bad it is & how quickly it’s treated.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 9:10 pmIn that case recovery would take up to three months.

Suppose it depends how bad it is & if, it was done in the first half as stated, he could have made it considerably worse with carrying on playing.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 10:56 pmMiniscus is like a cartilage and they don’t need six months to heal.josie andrews wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 10:08 pmBetween 3 & 6 months depending how bad it is & how quickly it’s treated.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 9:10 pm

If it’s solely meniscus it won’t be anywhere near 6 month mark.josie andrews wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 1:29 amSuppose it depends how bad it is & if, it was done in the first half as stated, he could have made it considerably worse with carrying on playing.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 10:56 pmMiniscus is like a cartilage and they don’t need six months to heal.josie andrews wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 10:08 pm

If it is that time period it would indicate something different or additional.
Fingers crossed just the meniscus.
