2024 Season Ticket update

Post by josie andrews »

Club surpasses last year’s total season tickets sales with eight weeks to go.

Over 7000 season tickets sold ahead of 2024 season.

All remaining seats now on general sale.

Wigan Warriors are delighted to reveal that season ticket sales have now exceed the total number sold at the start of the 2023 Betfred Super League season, with eight weeks remaining until the start of the new campaign.

Wigan will open the new season in eight weeks time on Saturday 17th February away at Castleford before the World Club Challenge against Penrith Panthers on Saturday 24th February at 8:00pm at the DW Stadium, followed by the first home Super League game in ten weeks time against Huddersfield Giants on Friday 1st March.

Fans had snapped up over 7,000 season tickets as the deadline passed for supporters to retain their existing seats.

Wigan Warriors Chief Executive, Kris Radlinski said: “Achieving such a milestone ten weeks before the start of the season at home is truly wonderful. The Super League competition in 2023 was brilliant throughout, and capping it off with a Grand Final win made it particularly special for our club.

“It’s clear that this success has sparked excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead in 2024. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our loyal fans for their unwavering support. Wishing each and every one of you a joyous and healthy Christmas.”

Anyone who hasn’t yet secured their seat for the new season has until 5pm on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 to buy at the ‘Early Bird’ price.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

There used to be 10,000 season ticket holders at one time before they went on general sale! ☹️
