Bevan French

Bevan French plays his 100th game for Wigan Warriors tonight v HKR.

He has scored, by my reckoning , 92 tries in all competitions for Wigan Warriors 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I looked up some stats the other day. Last season, when Bevan played in the halves and got 30 try assists for the season, he also scored 17 tries. Only Ezra Mam of Brisbane Broncos came anywhere near that try-scoring record for a half. Not Munster, not Cleary, not Moses... Not claiming Bevan is better than those guys, of course, but it's a remarkable achievement.
