Patrick Mago New Deal
Re: Patrick Mago New Deal
Great news and very well deserved. He's really put the hard work in to get where he is and he is a real point of difference on the field and looks to be a real asset off the field.
Re Liam, he really needs to spend the next two weeks working on his tackle technique and bend his back in the tackle otherwise he'll be spending more time on the side. He has it in him to be a great prop but he has to start adapting, together with working on cutting out the stupid errors around the ptb.

Agree with the positives surrounding Paddy. Obviously a decent player in there great hands and seems on the right road with his fitness always difficult to handle going forward.
On Liam Byrne he carried the fight for us last season when we was short on forwards and he's still young. I'm agreeing with the tackle technique comments, it's that same no mercy impact approach that's probably been a plus that's now got to be adapted. Let's not forget he was injured back end of the season and I'm sure he's been nursed in slowly, with the way Harvard suffered with similar.

Happy with this too. He's sharpened up his act and is now a real threat.

He's lost weight, improved his speed and as you say is now a threat when he comes on. Not sure what he does in the tackle, but it seems he is constantly making a half break.
Deserved his extension imo.

This has shown Paddy and anyone who feels they are not getting it right how to turn it around.
This time last year things didn't look good for him at Wigan.
He has improved through his own efforts and is now a different player.
His efforts have been rewarded with a contract extension which is fully deserved.

Brilliant news!
He’s completely different to anyone else we have.
Most improved player

Well deserved! We don’t have another prop who can attract so much attention and get quick ptbs. He’s like a big sexy teddy bear that just doesn’t believe in getting dominated in collision. Everything a woman could want.

What the F**k???
Are you for real???
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
