Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Not seen any of the game as I was on the way to Cardiff. Great result and sounds like we did to them what they did to us in the league game.

Excellent - now to book our tickets.
Can't recall a better forward performance than Thompson today. A delight to see him bulldozing through HKR, He was my MOM but can't quibble with Harry.

I wonder whether Isa would have been picked ahead of Nsemba had he been fit… funny how these things go. Junior was special today - having such danger from the second row on the right, and with Field causing havoc on the left, meant that HKR were stretched too thinly everywhere. Can you imagine what we could do on Wembley’s wide open spaces.
I am going to call it now - it has been a long long time since we have had a centre as good as Wardle, a prop as good as Thompson, a 7 as good as Smith and a 6 as good as French. With O’Neill, Nsemba and Havard looking they might develop into world class players as well.
Peet is proving himself to be a generational coach.
Happy happy days. Wembley, here we come!

Top performance all round.
On the half time analysis, puzzling.
KR were offside before O'Neil threw the forward pass. May jumps into Harry.?

Ryan Hall looked an old man today, sad in a way that he will be going round again next season as he has been an outstanding rugby player.Caboosegg wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 2:39 pm Ryan Halls walking off the pitch.
Tanya Arnold - are you agreeved by some of the refs decisions..
Then Wilken on about the forward pass that was missed.
Come on BBC how is that any form of commentary for a CC semi final.
There's been plenty to look at in the match around skill from both sides but choose ref decisions that went wigans way....
Credit on Halls answer.

That’s because he got injured.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 2:58 pmDidn’t Pete do an article saying he’s now the kicker and it lasted 1 week?

They simply weren’t good enough, they were offside most of the game but couldn’t control our pack.Caboosegg wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 3:03 pmIt's one sided, the narrative is Wigan are getting away with murder. while yes some decisions have gone our way KR have also had some and are getting away with high tackles (as are wigan)nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 3:00 pmWhy wouldn’t they talk about that?
Channel 4 would have done the same.
