Nick pinkney should stick to tje championship because it was his level
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Couldn't agree more about Ryan Hall: his attitude was all class. All the more so when he had a bit of a stinker personally. Peters; not so much.
In another oddity of the BBC coverage, did other posters notice than in the first half, Wigan were apparently playing in 'turquoise'. And 'purple' was mentioned once too, I think, Fortunately, in the second half, we'd reverted to playing in blue. Are they all colour-blind, on top of their other failings?

The bbc coverage is of such a low standard it’s becoming embarrassing credit to sky they’ve upped their game big time this season but the bbc and happy to spend as little as possible on coverage

totally outclassed KR in the 1st half, Completely dominant, and hence you usually get a bit of the rub of the green. KR players should learn to stay on their feet when chasing, as it was embarrassing watching them fall to the ground at the slightest of touches of a wigan player
BBC coverage was poor, hard work giving Wigan credit, every kick was shinned. Give over you complete f***wits, Wigan were on fire in 3rd gear, let alone running riot in top gear. KR couldnt handle what we threw at them, and were gassed after 20 minutes of the 1st half
2nd half, we did what we needed to do to see the game out. if they scored or looked like scoring we went up the other end and did score

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
A lot of credit to Luke Thompson who played the full 80 minutes

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Well I have been watching the recording and Wigan’s kicking game in the first half was perfect.
As to Wilkin’s comments about bad decisions in Wigan’s favour, what an idiot. If you are offside at the PTB you are offside. Doesn’t matter if the attacking team does a forward pass or even drops the ball. By being offside you are putting extra pressure on the attacking team and can’t complain - after you were offside - the attacking team makes an error.
As to the Smith so called obstruction, he was stood still and it’s not his job to move out of the way. And French’s kick got a try was a fluke apparently
Second half, HKR no 20 not offside when he was. Honestly the entire commentary was ridiculously biased.
Great performance by Wigan that frustrated HKR who didn’t have a clue what to do to get back in the game.

was my MOTM. To play the full 80 and be active all the way through the game in attack and defence in those conditions on Saturday takes some enginejosie andrews wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 11:37 pm A lot of credit to Luke Thompson who played the full 80 minutes![]()

He’s been brilliant from game one for me just adds so much when you can have a prop on the field for the full game an excellent signingjosie andrews wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 11:37 pm A lot of credit to Luke Thompson who played the full 80 minutes![]()

Oh dear, just watching it again and the neurotic "analysis" of the Tanganoa offside on 44 minutes is just nausiating. The guy is in front of the kicker and is offside - end of.
Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Haven't they even got the technology to trace a line across, VAR-style, instead of just saying "I reckon he was on-side"? Well I don't. And anyway, it's not like HKR lost by one score, is it?widdenoldboy wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 4:40 pm Oh dear, just watching it again and the neurotic "analysis" of the Tanganoa offside on 44 minutes is just nausiating.
