15 minutes good - 65 minutes bad.

Keighran's looked worse than it was but I don't expect fairness and equity from the disciplinary panel.
It looked to me as if he was preparing to bring his left arm round in a smother tackle and the Wire guy slipped downwards and forwards at a greater pace and Boom!
Having said that, it didn't surprise me that Smith got something else wrong. Consistent - useless but consistent - just what the RL loves in a ref.

Marshy said at the end the strapping was a precaution and he would definitely be fine for Saturday. I realise he would say that but I think he'll be OK.
As for Keighran's cover - only one logical solution. Nsemba to centre - Walters and Farrell to second-row.

As for Hampshire? Next time let's play a young player instead shall we?

I don’t like to be over critical of any player but I’ve always scratched my head with him coming back, people say he covers lots of positions but for me he does so very averagely surely there’s better in the squad ?

In simplistic terms, we didn’t play well but we got two points. Let’s move onto next week.

Agreed, let’s move on. One final thought after today. Someone needs to get in Junior’s ear and tell him that his future is at Wigan and not in the NRL. He will be a massive loss to us and the Super League if he goes when they come knocking very loudly at the door…which could be very soon if recent history is anything to go by

Immediate future as I wouldn’t want to see a potential superstar denied his crack at the NRL in years to come

Agreed he is continuing to improve. Having said that if Walters can pack some more KG on he will be virtually unplayable. He's got the frame to be immense.

It seemed like today Warrington were giving the two points away as a gift and we didn’t want to accept them.
Very ordinary performance too many players perhaps had an eye on next week, hopefully got that out of our system and give a good performance next week when the level of opposition will be far superior.
Kieran was unlucky with the sending off the Wire player was going down but if you don’t wrap with your arms it’s a risk you run.

Indeed. The immediate future looks very exciting with those two in the side. :D
