It has just been reported that Rob has passed away. Such a sad day for his family, friends and the rugby league fraternity. RIP young man.

Yes just seen it, such a sad day

RIP Rob & sincere condolences to his family & friends 😢💔🥀xx
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

What a player, what a man sadly we know there was only ever going to be one winner in his battle but the good he and Kevin Sinfield have done will with luck help others.

Rest in piece Rob.

Loss to the club, loss to Rugby League, most of course mostly to his family. Great player, great ambassador for the game, great shame....
