Wembley tickets not arrived yet

Post by catman »

I bought my Wembley tickets over two weeks ago. Paid £80 for two tickets and £40 for a car park pass. Car park pass was delivered electronically within seconds. I rang the ticket office last Friday to enquire where they were and I was assured they would be sent out in good time. I have still not received them. If they have not arrived tomorrow I will get on the phone to the ticket office again complaining like I seem to be doing on a regular basis this year. Luckily I am going down on the day, if I had been going down a few days before I don’t know what I would have done.
I worked out I’ve paid about £20 in processing fees this year for match tickets what for? A website that doesn’t work or recognise my ticketmaster account, hours waiting to speak to an operator and tickets that are sold out by the time I can contact the club or frankly do not arrive.
This whole ticketing situation is a farce. This online ticketmaster system needs binning asap.
If you want to see angry it will be me if these tickets do not arrive in the next few days and if anyone has the nerve to mention the words ‘early renewal’ to me in the current situation stand well back.

Contact the club at Robin Park 01942 762888 as well as the ticket office 01942 311111

I’m assuming you live outside of Wigan?

Sorry can’t be of more help 😕

I have the same problem. Tickets ordered online at just after 10.00 am on the Monday after the semi-final. No tickets received as of this morning, Thursday.

Went down to ticket office yesterday, phoned ticket office Monday and yesterday. Went to Arena yesterday. Told they were posted out first class on Monday and best they can offer is to put us on 'Duplicate Ticket' list and we can pick up duplicate tickets from Wembley ticket office on Saturday if they don't arrive here.

By the way I live in Billinge! Of course it isn't their problem it's the mail!! Not sure how they'll get tickets to Wembley by Saturday if they can't get them to Billinge!! They may of course arrive tomorrow but goodness knows how the 'duplicate ticket' system works. Frustrated and angry - you bet!

And meanwhile the powers that be will be making the most of all the free hospitality (and handing out free bottles of LL Whisky over the weekend) not giving a tinkers toss for all the people that have parted with their hard earned and as of yet received nowt for it . God forbid that they actually do the jobs they are paid for and put their heads above the parrapit and explain what's going on to sort this "ticket system" out . Standing in a queue at Wembly for duplicate tickets is not what cup finals are about .

It's really poor and inexcusable the way fans have been messed around.

Went down Monday morning to ask when the tickets were being sent out. Was told they had already been dispatched, then suddenly they appeared from the back office. Not sure if this is Ticketmasters fault as there were piles of tickets in that back office.

given all the fiasco for the last 6 months

go online, order tickets, collect from the office

no issues at all, and i've done that for every game i've been able to attend this year. Yes, its a minor inconvenience travelling into Wigan when i dont need to go, but i havent had an issue with getting my tickets yet

Problem is getting to the ticket office when it is open as I work 8:00-4:30 in Runcorn during the week. They need to reintroduce Saturday morning opening.
