The threat of Jai creates room for others. His run and pass to Faz was out of the top drawer.

Re: Jai Field
He's perhaps not at his 'explosive best', possibly down to the rumoured injury he's carrying, but even the threat of Field helps your attack and he was excellent in defence. He was great yesterday and created a try essentially. Can't understand anyone who can't see what he's bringing, perhaps they're trolling.
Re: Jai Field
It was inevitable that after they exploded onto the scene both Jai and Bevan would be targeted by the opposition trying to cut down their space and running threat. To an extent they've been successful in that. However the quality of these two guys is that they've both almost reinvented their games, Jai by providing threat all over the field, subtle assists and committing the opposition defence and creating space for others, and Bevan by his class, excellent kicking game, cut-out passes and sheer unpredictability. And both of them, given that they are not the biggest of blokes, are brilliant in defence. Special talents both of them.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Jai Field
If they triple up on Jai, there is space elsewhere on the pitch. I don’t subscribe to the view he has lost any pace. When he has been in the clear, no one has caught him, and he has been quick enough to stop anyone who has made a break. He is a joy to watch. I am not sure what the etiquette is on commenting on others’ motivations, but I strongly suspect the person making the criticisms is not a genuine contributor.
