Disciplinary
Re: Disciplinary
Yes it was a typo, big hands small keys. It's nice of you Josie to take a break from moaning about everything to point it out. I didn't know this forum
doubled up as a place to whine and also practice English. Good point whoever mentioned about the Welsh hill though, he's much better than Burne and doesn't fold as easy.

I don’t always moan about everything don’t so arrogant! And FYI, that is exactly what this forum is for, for people to comment whether it’s complaining, supporting or whatever as long as it is not insulting other posters! Which from your comment is what you are trying to do!w.thomas wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 5:13 pm Yes it was a typo, big hands small keys. Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Looks like they've lost their appeal on the Mbye ban. Good stuff, nice to see justice done. I would prefer it though that if ever an appeal fails the ban should be extended by a game. That would reward the sensible behaviour exhibited by clubs like Wigan and prevent knee-jerk appeals by other more cynical clubs.

Ratchford will do for me, we need someone at 9 who can pass accurately and quickly. I am never in favour of putting a round peg in a square hole. However, in Peet I trust. Same as last week. As for the Saints, they are an ageing team but I think you will find that apart from Makinson and Walmsley they will be able to select their best starting 13.

Ratchford is a talent and can kick goalsDaiJones wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 11:22 am It sounds like Mr Peet is hinting at a debut for Tom Ratchford on Friday. I haven't seen much of him but hear he is quite a talent. It would mean two young, small lads in the middle of the park with him and Farrimond but our Academy products just seem to be able to cope when they're thrown in to these big games.
My slight reservation with Ratchford is that having looked him up on the Warriors website, according to his date of birth, he isn't due to be born until October 10th this year. I know we say if they're old enough they're good enough but a foetus ?

He lacks experience at Reserves level but I just wonder if Peet is more confident bringing young talent in, he was a little cautious with O'Neil, Hill and Nsemba but has been more proactive lately with Eckersley and Farrimond and both have paid off.

The player profiles are atrocious, it shouldn’t be difficult to give some basic information on players at all levels.DaiJones wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 11:22 am It sounds like Mr Peet is hinting at a debut for Tom Ratchford on Friday. Re: Disciplinary
Has Mbye's appeal failed? I see the BBC are reporting that he's banned for Fri, whilst saying that Wire's appeal re Harrison was successful.
