Ego-driven pygmies like Cullen should be kept away from any position where they are able to wield any sort of power or influence. Its not our fault he was a sh#t coach. Other opinions are obviously available.

Good news. Maybe the fact Wigan don’t frivolously challenge every ban (unlike St Helens) made the panel think it was worth reconsidering.

Brilliant news.

Wigan Warriors’ Adam Keighran will be available for selection for Saturday’s Betfred Super League match against Hull FC after successfully challenging the Match Review Panel’s charge of a dangerous throw/lift during Friday’s match against St Helens.

The independent Operational Rules Tribunal found him not guilty.

Yes!

The MRP is a comedy gift that keeps on giving, as for RedV, they are having a laugh...

Eckersley looked absolutely lethal last Friday.
Keighran's ban being overturned is a massive boost for us.

Match Review Panel charges from Super League Round 17 games

WARRINGTON Wolves can breathe a big sigh of relief following the release of this week's Match Review Panel minutes.

Despite being sin-binned for a high tackle during the victory over Leeds Rhinos on Thursday, star half-back George Williams has escaped a disciplinary charge and a possible suspension, leaving him clear to feature in the pivotal run of games coming up.

Williams, who has already served a suspension for a late hit this year, was yellow-carded by referee Jack Smith for a high shot on Andy Ackers during the second half of Warrington's 30-18 victory, and it was feared his previous record may count against him.

However, the panel have decided the sin-binning was sufficient, meaning Williams will be available for Friday's Round 18 trip to St Helens.

The same goes for Saints prop Matty Lees, who was sin-binned for a high tackle during the first minute of his side's derby loss to Wigan Warriors on Friday.

He too has escaped a charge, meaning he can be selected for this weekend's fixture.

In all, eight charges have been handed out to Super League players with four carrying bans - Huddersfield Giants duo Andre Savelio and Sam Hewitt will both serve two-match suspensions while Leigh Leopards hooker Edwin Ipape and Wigan Warriors centre Adam Keighran have both been banned for one match.
