Looks like Kerr wont take any part. On a grade E charge from the reserves match last week.

St Helens Squad for Magic

Saints‘ 21-man squad:

2 Tommy Makinson
3 Waqa Blake
5 Jon Bennison
8 Alex Walmsley
10 Matty Lees
12 Joe Batchelor
14 Moses Mbye
15 James Bell
16 Curtis Sironen
17 Agnatius Paasi
19 Matt Whitley
20 George Delaney
21 Ben Davies
22 Sam Royle
24 Jake Burns
25 Tee Ritson
29 Will Roberts
30 Jonny Vaughan
31 Noah Stephens
32 Leon Cowen
33 Harry Robertson
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The Walters/Forber bit puzzles me, unless Forber's fitness is in doubt.

Our first consideration should be the spine. If Farrimond starts and is "run over" in defence, he needs to be pulled. There's an option of Leeming in the halves. If we don't have Forber in the 17, who goes to 9? Farrell, with Walters in the second row?

What I'm saying is we must have Jai, Keighran, Farrimond, Leeming and Forber in the 17, to cover 1,6,7 and 9. In my opinion.

I'd agree with that.

I think this is what you meant, Ted. Your comment was hidden in the middle of the quote!

Should be an interesting game today. Both teams depleted. My side would be

Field
Miski
Eckersley
Wardle
Marshall

Keighran
Farrimond

Dupree
Leeming
Thompson
Nsemba
Farrell
Ellis

Forber Havard Mago Walters

Seen a few saying put Field in the halves and play Eckersley at fullback. My problem with this is how out of position Eckersley is in defence at fullback. Not his fault of course, as I don't think he's played there much, but it was a real problem against Wire. Fields defence is outstanding but I wouldn't like to see him get targeted by the Saints forwards. I think having Forber could be a real asset for us allowing Leeming to come off rather than play the 80.

Not looking too bad so far, but in the words of Han Solo, I've got a bad feeling about this
