Leeds fans have always been deluded though. I remember when we smashed them at headingly years ago when Leuluai, Lockers and Finch ran riot there. We won something like 50 odd 6 and Leeds fans claimed it was the referee. Nothing to do with us being vastly superior in every department
Unfortunately every club has them including Wigan
i work in Warrington, so have a good mix of Wigan, Saints, Wire, Leigh and Widnes fans in the office, so plenty of rugby talk. However, there is 1 Saints fan i wont engage in RL talk with as he is completely deluded, blinkered etc, and wont give Wigan (or any other team) credit and no Wigan player will ever get into a Saints team because they are far superior in every aspect. Now, the rest i can have a reasoned chat about rugby with, as they can appreciate that its the game we love (and yes, we love our respective teams), but will have good chat about the games, and with some friendly banter thrown in when we can
on the flip side to Blackpool_pie comment i was at the game when Leeds battered us 70-0, and was getting abuse of some leeds fans for staying to clap the team off the pitch, so just said, did you do the same when you were s***, no i didnt think so, and they soon shut up and went on their way
