Disciplinary Round 23
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Tommy Makinson’s first words after controversial ban as St Helens make appeal decision
St Helens will fight the three-match ban handed out to England winger Tommy Makinson at a tribunal on Tuesday evening.
Makinson was banned for three games following an incident during the Saints‘ heavy defeat to Hull KR on Saturday afternoon. He was given a straight red card after a high tackle on Rovers’ Tyrone May in the final ten minutes of the loss.

Re: Disciplinary Round 23
probably sentimental reasons as all the Saints fans were saying he should be able to play his last game at the tinpot stadium

in all reality, its his previous that probably counted against him initially, with several visits over the last couple of years to the disciplinary and who can forget that he stuck his finger where the sun dont shine (conveniently forgotten by most Saints fans)

Thats about right for me, his feet left the floor just before contact so MRP would say he was not in control of his body.
