Re: Sam Burgess condemns "theatrics" after furious Paul Vaughan red card verdict
It seems everything about the 'non-featured' games is of poor quality, production values of the programme, and hey, actual picture quality too. Even NowTV is hardly a bargain: it's 14 quid now to watch a one-off game, but I can watch every NRL game (and the women too, if I want) for less than that a month!

Meanwhile, back at Sam Burgess's comments:
I don't care who it is, but when a coach starts publicly blaming the ref it's a bad sign for his team, in my long-held opinion.
I've quoted John Monie before now: "Referees don't drop balls or miss tackles. It's our job to control the controllable, and leave the referees to do their job."

I've tried the SL+ streaming on line a couple of times, paying for individual Wigan away matches. The buffering was terrible. Started going to the pub instead.

Exactly. Also, I haven’t noticed him moan when an opposition player has suffered a similar fate. However, I think the RFL, coaches etc. need to have a full and thorough review of the interpretation of the rules at the end of the season.morley pie eater wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 2:13 pm Meanwhile, back at Sam Burgess's comments:

Just musing over pub v NowTV. Will probably plump for the latter.

Can we stay on topic please Josie? Their is a thread about SL+ you can post this injosie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 9:40 am Missed the first 15 minutes as couldn’t get SL+ to work then all during the game it kept freezing![]()
If this is how it’s going to be to watch the extra games being played think I’m going to cancel Sky sports altogether![]()

If you look at the thread title it’s about the sending off of Vaughan which if you had read MY reply was that I missed it because of the problem with Sky + that was my one & only comment.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 5:38 pmCan we stay on topic please Josie? I’ve only just come on the site to see other posters have also been commenting on Sky + & yet it’s me who you’ve had a go at.
So to satisfy your complaint I’ve merged the two threads. I hope that meets with your approval?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

It was a tongue in cheek comment Josie considering how threads are constantly being locked due to apparently going off topic despite being as loosely associated with the thread topic as your sky complaint. Just a joke, not a complaint. Hope you enjoy the gamejosie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 7:11 pmIf you look at the thread title it’s about the sending off of Vaughan which if you had read MY reply was that I missed it because of the problem with Sky + that was my one & only comment.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 5:38 pmCan we stay on topic please Josie? Okay just didn’t want you to think it’s just me who locks threads. I’ve been out all day so only saw everyone’s replies this evening.Blackpool_Pie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 7:26 pmIt was a tongue in cheek comment Josie considering how threads are constantly being locked due to apparently going off topic despite being as loosely associated with the thread topic as your sky complaint. I do try to be fair & I do let things go for a while it’s not easy when you have to read every thread & every post & always make the correct decision all the time.
