I haven’t gone to Catalan since Covid but lots of my friends are over there & say it "buzzing" 😂

I do know that Flash is over there 😊
It's been a brilliant day Josie, and the atmosphere both at the square pre match and at the game itself was unlike anything since old Wembley. The win put the cherry on the cake, of course, but if anyone hasn't been and is thinking of trying it just do it. You won't regret it! 😁
Bouncing. There will be some sore heads tomorrow, including mine.

Glad you had a great time only missed 2 from the start when it was in Montpelier 2012/2013 when Stephen was being treated for Cancer. Then Covid came & it’s now the only game I miss.

The only thing I don’t like now are all the smoke flares being set off, that would put an end to me & thought it was wrong that players had to play while all the smoke was still pervading the pitch.

Same at Leigh earlier in the year when it was raining & the smoke didn’t lift for ages. Even the tv commentators mentioned it when I watched the game back when I got home.
Think it’s unfair for people who have breathing problems to use flares & smoke bombs 🙁

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Couldn't agree more about the smoke from fireworks and flares, Josie, this has got right out of order.

Accumulating penalties Lemdall clearly said he told Ellis a few plays back to cut them out he’d had enough and Leeming got the card.

I’m far from a fan of Kendall but you can hear him well and he’s explaining what he’s doing fair play to him
I do agree he explained it fairly and had already warned us, however the tackle was neither high as it was on his shoulder at worst, nor was it late considering he made contact with the kicker before his foot connected with the ball
I agree mate but and it’s a while since I’ve seen it in fairness Kendall took action to stop wigans nonsense shame that Lerming was the the one to suffer, but for me it worked Wigan became more focused and cut out the penalties.

Wigan fans got banned after a game at Huddersfield where they set off red smoke flares several years ago. Think that is what started up a fans group to try & stop anti social behaviour, don’t know what’s happened to it now 🤔

Pretty good performance from about 35 minutes to 65 minutes. Did that have something to do with Forber's stint? Hmmmmm.
Nsemba startlingly good as was Wardle (perhaps less startlingly - he's always good). French was so rusty and Field obviously had a hand problem from quite early on. Ellis and Thompson give us the type of forwards that we haven't had for a long time. I'd like to see Havard get a rest - for the first time last night, he looked a bit knackered by the end.
As for fouls, it won't happen but the shoulder charge into Mago's back by the third tackler ought to be looked at by the Disciplinary Panel... pause for hollow laughter.
I'm happy with a win at a tricky venue and at a really odd starting time.

You saying Mago might pick up a ban for that :D

Also Marshall headbutted a tacklers knees - you never know!
