Our best has been good enough. In the biggest games, we have stood tall.

Last year’s grand final back line: Field Miski King Wardle Marshall French Smith
WCC back line: the same save for Keighran for King
Challenge Cup back line: the same save for Eckersley for Keighran

It’s great to have options, but I would be surprised if Peet spends more than a minute considering his back line selections in the weeks to come.

First choice spine, minus O’Neill.

Smith is nailed on to play, as is Faz.

Smith ends his ban and will play.
The unknown is who will the disc comm ban.
To come out of a tough game away from home without a ban or more will be surprising.
Kendall did the usual performance in front of a load crowd for at least an hour by only refereeing the away team.

The referee app will be interesting for this HKR game.
Usually the ref who was in charge of the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
We shall see.

Our support will make a massive difference in the next 3 games, which can lift the team and give the referee food for thought. 2 out of 3 guarantees us a home semi. Play our cards right and we have no more away fixtures.

We will defo need faz as walters keeps making the odd silly mistake in defence.Turning his back versus le cats was criminal

I don’t like the idea of “could” going into one of the most important games of the season.

I’m personally not Smiths biggest fan, but our game plan suites him and we have won every trophy with him at 7 and he should be straight back into the team to start building momentum.

If Smith misses out, his next biggest game is at the end of September in the semi…
There is no way that Smith doesn’t play.

I agree. In such a situation it is better to give away a penalty.

It's obvious to me that Smith plays and AK goes to centre.

He gets the centre spot on his goal kicking alone imo.
