TBF, Mago's cameo was top draw and Nsemba was awesome throughout.
Puzzled why Tanginoa wasn't penalised for the "tackle" on Miski...just an old fashioned shoulder charge to the head?

That was my thought as well. Their was ni claiming to the referee for anything in that tackle. It was hard and fair but Miski definitely felt itBarney841 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 10:28 pmDidn’t hit his head. Am I right did I just hear KRs coach say his players arent told to stay down ..... a team containing Mikey "did you see that ref " Lewis are you sh@tting me. Why is this suddenly a Wigan issue . Miski should demand an apology . As for Dupree exactly same as Ellis and he got a ban bet theres no KR ban

It’s good to see, shows that the aggression of the game hasn’t completely gone. Even though it was one of our players that got hammered

First time I have seen Wigan "play to the rules" with regard to this.
Willie Peters has gone down a lot in my estimation. Is he serious? Lewis practically invented the art of "staying down".
Sour grapes from Peters. Clearly it was their Grand Final. I can see them falling away now.
Re: Tonight v Hull KR
I thought we’d had it at 8-20 but the team showed great character not to panic.
As to the Peter’s and his comments such as quoted on the BBC web site where he obviously thinks 13 v 13 they would have won, well maybe he should ask why when down to 12 they couldn’t keep Wigan out? Team weather a sin binning quite often preventing the other side scoring. Why couldn’t HKR?
The Burgess sin binning was obviously the correct decision so you must have to do the hard work in defence when that happens.

WP came up with some lame mind games leading up to tonight - they didn't work.Wintergreen wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 10:50 pm100%.WIGIAN13 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 10:32 pm Am I right did I just hear KRs coach say his players arent told to stay down ..... a team containing Mikey "did you see that ref " Lewis are you sh@tting me. Lewis still has to push his hands into opponents faces at every tackle - he is better than that - one for WP?
We may count ourselves lucky but its a massive dent to KR, how will they react?
Re: Tonight v Hull KR
Great game, fantastic atmosphere, good performance with more to come. Magos cameo worth the admission by itself, Nsemba is a beast and what can you say about French, it's a privilege to be there sometimes. I picked a good game to go to this year!
Great experience all round.

What a short memory WP has. Didn’t have much to say when mickey Lewis stayed down after being tackled by Joe shorrocks in the cc semi which resulted him being sent off.
It will be interesting what the disciplinary say about the Whitbread challenge.
