They’d only drop to 3rd if they lose and Warrington win their next 2 and overcome a big points difference of 82.

A helecopter between hull and wigan was to much so they removed the need for one.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.

Re: Salford fixture has been re-arranged
Also the south stand bar will be closed to Wigan Warriors fans as there is a Darts tournament being played!
Why is it always Wigan? The amount of money the club will now lose will be ridiculous as they will lose corporate as well as sponsors!
Plus the amount of people who won’t/can’t attend now because it is changed to a Thursday.
Think we should boycott the game

But as usual we will just kowtow to Sky

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I’m sure they’re hoping Salford do a number on Wigan and the sky sports team can go a fluff Lewis and Peters on Friday before their expected grand final win on October the 12th.josie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 5:10 pm Also the south stand bar will be closed to Wigan Warriors fans as there is a Darts tournament being played!

I’m really not sure why other teams are bothering to show up as it’s all KR this season isn’t it?

Am I right in thinking at the very least Wigan have a home semi final?

It's the price of success, Josie. If we were where Saints are, there'd be no problem!josie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 5:10 pm Also the south stand bar will be closed to Wigan Warriors fans as there is a Darts tournament being played!

(Just to be clear, I think you're right, but couldn't resist having a pop at Sent Ellins.)

Whoever finished first would have been in the same situation. The late notice isn’t really acceptable, and just shows the hold Sky have on the game. Wouldn’t and doesn’t happen in football without months notice.josie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 5:10 pm Also the south stand bar will be closed to Wigan Warriors fans as there is a Darts tournament being played!

The Sky contract must stipulate that this kind of thing can happen.
The clubs have no alternative other than trying to negotiate better terms when the deal is up, with sky or someone else.
