Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

i think it would have to be the same 17 as last week, unless there's a knock i've not picked up on as we've a week off to rest and recover before the play off semi

Huge credit to Forber that he has slotted in so effortlessly that his selection and long minutes pass without comment. I would be tempted to play Walters ahead of Byrne. Salford don’t rely on massive props, so we can be more relaxed about having 4 props.

Salford thrown the towel in this week with that squad. Should be racking up 30+ points easily

I know we have a week off following this game but Salford's squad gives us scope to rest a couple if need be. No harm in giving Eckersley another game and Walters needs a game in case we suddenly need him (due to injury/suspension) following this week. Clearly Smith and Bevan need to play but we could rest Jai and Junior without disrupting the team too much.

You need momentum going into the playoffs so no need to rest anyone unless they have a niggling injury.

i suppose with the poor crowd they'd get at home Rowley is thinking they'll be better supported on the road, and hence happy to throw the game or he's hoping Leigh do a job on Saints. Leigh have to win as i cant see Cats not slapping Hull, but they wont get enough points to over turn Saints superior points difference (about 190 points better than Catalan)

anyway, all we can do is beat whats in front of us, and if its an easier game, make sure we come through with no suspensions or injuries and are fully fit for the semi
