Talking to his agent today and he is in the process of negotiating a new long-term contract with Wigan , he loves the club and has no plans to go to the NRL

He’s a top lad. Why would he not stay at Wigan, he can earn top dollar, win a number of trophies and finish up a legend.

Same as every other player who moves over to the NRL. To earn even more money and/or test themselves in the toughest league around.

I do hope it's true about him sticking around for a while though

Pretty certain he had expressed his desire to go to the NRL in a post match interview last year.
