Briers has forgotten more about RL than Carney will ever know. Never like Briers as a player but he has developed in to a sound bloke and a good coach.

I get why opposing fans didn't like him, but he was still a bloody good player (I suppose I've always bracketed him with Danny Brough), and arguably now an even better coach.
