The latest Super League attendances.

Wigan Warriors recorded the biggest attendance of the final Super League round. The Cherry and Whites clinched the League Leaders Shield with a thumping 64-0 victory over Salford Red Devils on Thursday night, with the reigning Challenge Cup, Super League, and World Club Champions recording a figure of 15,589 to see it—confirming the highest average attendance of the season at the Brick Community Stadium.

Elsewhere, Warrington Wolves posted a figure of 10,192 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with the Wire securing third place on the Super League table with a 54-0 victory over London Broncos.

Over at Leigh Sports Village, 9,899 was recorded as Leigh Leopards won a thrilling clash 18-12 against St Helens. The result confirmed a play-off spot for the Leythers, with St Helens finishing in sixth position, their lowest of the Super League era.

In East Hull, an average attendance of 9,883 was announced for the 2024 season, although the figure against Leeds Rhinos is still to be confirmed. Hull KR, meanwhile, ran out 26-16 winners, typing up second spot and a home Super League semi-final.

In West Hull, Hull FC recorded a figure of 9,384 as they played their final game of the season against Catalans Dragons. The Black and Whites saw the careers of Carlos Tuimavave and Danny Houghton come to an end, with the Dragons running out 24-4 winners.

Great to see us leading the table. I hoped in the past that the club could realistically aim for an average of
20 000 if we'd made a concerted effort after moving to the new ground. I'm sure somebody out there has the figures but I seem to remember that we averaged 16 500 or so over several years at Central Park. Somehow the club just seemed to assume that more people would come to a newer bigger ground even though our team wasn't as dominant and we had far fewer 'superstar' players. It's only recently that Matty and others have regularly talked about getting the crowds up so I hope that's a sign of things to come.

Ian Lenaghan stated he wanted to aim for 20k average in his early days but never got close

Next year will be interesting as we've already given up one home game v Wire and our loop fixtures Leigh and Hudds will probably even out with one decent crowd and a taxi from Hudds

i know we shouldnt rely on away fans to boost attendances but a decent following always adds to creating a better atmosphere

20k should be the ambition, and i'm sure there are plenty of floating fans who attend the odd game / ex season ticket holders etc that the club should be targetting to convert into season ticket holders. They also need to rectify the issues of this last season with regards to ticketing as there are lots of current ST holders who are mightily p***** off with how they've been treated as paying customer

I think the problem with tickets throughout the whole season will see a dip in sales unless the club address the issue and offer some sort of discount of sorts. I don't think a freeze would work after this seasons shambles

its been strange as i havent had 1 issue when i've bought tickets this season (all done online) for home, away or cup games, so i must be in the minority of 1 :) without issues

i commented earlier in the season when the issues were 1st arising that someone needed to be held accountable, as the migrating of data from 1 system to another shouldnt be that hard (its something i do in my day to day job), and that sufficient testing clearly hadnt taken place

with the Wire game already in Vegas, a freeze in prices is unlikely to be acceptable to most, so for renewals you would hope the club recognise that, plus all the shag and hassle ST holders have had this year, that they would offer some form of reduction so they can aim to try and increase ST sales pre-season

I’ve had nothing but trouble as a season ticket holder! I could never buy away game tickets online. I wasn’t classed as a ST holder yet it would say "Hello Josie season ticket holder"!

The carbon footprint the club so called wanted to reduce was wiped out by me & others who had to keep going down to the TO for tickets which we should have been able to purchase online!

I went onto my online account on Friday & signed in only to be told I wasn’t recognised & to change my password which I did & was accepted, didn’t notice the different client code!

I signed in to this "account" only to see that I had no upcoming games & no tickets, I’d purchased six & the five people who were in my network had all disappeared!

I rang the ticket office today & eventually got through to enquire as to what had happened to my account tickets network etc.

Apparently, I had the two accounts! One which had been created by Ticketmaster & that was the one which had nothing in my online account. Any road up, the nice lady deleted that account & my original one is intact!

But what a pallaver?

A bit unfair on Huddersfield - I heard they're trying to fill a minibus.

And they're planning to move to a new stadium? I can't understand it.
