The best thing that Wigan fans can do is go and support the team, they are trying to improve and trying to win games but there is a lack of confidence which is hard to get unless you have the support of the fans.
I always support the team at matches. I don't see the point of going to slag them off. Of course if they are making a hash of it I won't sit there just cheering as if they are playing great, who does?

I have seen plenty of fans who have it in for players, even great players like Farrell no matter what they do I have never understtod it.
When you support a club you support then through good times and bad, you don't just support them when they get to Wembley and then turn your back when things get tough. If we protest now what will we be protesting about, being bottom of the league? how will a protest solve that the player will just see fans not supporting the club and then confidence will drop even more.
I don't think complaining about being bottom of the league is out of bounds!

I think the place to do it is places like this, not with protests at the game. Protests are for things like selling Central Park or things like that, not for ways to register your annoyance at how the team plays.

Message boards are read by players and club officials and so they know the way the fans feel but if there is anything that should get the players going it is the fantastic crowds at the JJB and the away following.

Okay, so we don't want to protest; and Mrs Lam quite rightly points out that they don't git a stuff anyway !

We'll park the protest for a while and come back to the situation in a few months time and see what the groundswell of opinion is then !

Might even go to Wakey at the weekend now.

If Wigan fans really want to protest they should stay away from that Scouse dump on Good Friday. Show McManus what we think of his pathetic behaviour regarding Higham and the attempted loan signing from Cas. (Must be getting senile. Can't remember his name)

why dont we turn up in force get as many fans in the stadium and thousands out side the staines shed and make banners saying loyal fans in bad times aswell as good times.then do a stay behind protest in the ground it will be on sky sports and will make a point to millward and his players that as fans we are commited to them. so they should also show 100% commitment back and with a bit of luck we will the the game and prove a point to show to all rugby league fans how loyal us pie eaters really are and kick start our season

Please desist, otherwise I will be personally offended ! I am very proud of my regional accent ( Liverpudlian ) and wish to feel welcome at the JJB.

Kick out racism in rugby !
