Thought Salford were like rabbits caught in headlights, especially first half. Looked very nervous, which lead imo to the error count. Leigh just stuck with it and produced some quality play for their trys.
Should we end up facing Leigh in the final, reckon we'd be 20+ points better.

Salford looked fresher as you'd expect but also were disjointed and didn't put enough points on the board when on top.
Leigh were able to stay in touch and then show a bit of cohesion to take the game.

At the beginning of the season we would have taken a home semi v Leigh so now it’s time to put on another performance and head to OT to play whoever wins the previous night. A great chance for another final. Come on Wigan!

We didn't see any of this fluid, attacking rugby we'd been promised by Salford, did we? I thought they were very disappointing. Tonight's game was a belter, and when it went to GP, I thought, this is where Saints win it at the death. But they bodged it. Welsby didn't do much in attack, tamely caught in possession on the last tackle at least twice that I remember. Scuffed kick by Perceval after Lomax makes a poor decision...

Our lads will be up for it big time.
Beat Leigh and they'll be in the Grand Final.
They will know a full on game is absolutely necessary for as much as Leigh will throw at us a win will mean facing a better team in the final.
Both HKR and Wire finished above Leigh so a top notch game will send them to OT bang in form!

Why are the playoffs on separate days? Wigan or Leigh will have a day less to recover!

It will make very little difference. Just great that we are finally talking about Rugby again, and there have been some great games on national free to air TV.
