Storm v Panthers

Post by widdenoldboy »

Absorbing game, Storm were a bit off their game apart from their scramble defence. Lacked real x-factor to be a true classic.

Now watching the pre-game stuff and the Aussies acknowledge that Rugby League was born in England!

They were choked out of it.

Thought the game was a bit of a grind but still enjoyed it.

Anyhow, looking forward to the Pacific Cup now.

It was definately no classic but still very tough.Storm made two many errors early doors and then got strangled.Thought the no try was wrong but i cant fault penrith who always find extra when it matters

Yeh, I thought he got that ball down for a try - opposite side of the coin to the KR try?

Great to see that Penrith are still the second best RL team in the World. Sadly, if we win on Saturday, I don't think we'll get chance to remind them of that fact in the WCC again next season.

Extraordinary achievement to win 4 Grand Finals on the bounce.
Next year's Panthers will be different because of the departure of key players, so I can't see them winning 5.

Wigan at their very best, are as good as the Panthers and we are the current WCCs!

Why can’t the world club championship be held in Vegas, if there’s an odd number of teams in the NRL the team that has a bye can play the Sharks and Warrington can stay at home

So you think that’s fair to deny fans who can’t travel to Vegas?

It’s bad enough the club taking a home game to Vegas, you want the WCC there as well! 🤨
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
