Lot's of finger pointing going out to NRL and Penrith, but makes you wonder why Wigan agreed to Vegas, especially considering "Wigan's Vegas flights are set for Sunday, February 16th, one day after the World Club Challenge was due to take place."
Did they know it was dead and buried already? Did they care? Was there talks of a different date for the fixture?
Be very sad to see it not played, but looks like its heading that way.

I have said it before, just arrange it for when the Panthers have their 'bye' week, that way they can play their game (better if it was a Thursday game before the bye week), fly over a day or two later, have 5 days or so to acclimatise and train, play the fixture and head back off, they then have another 5 days or so to their next fixture, or Wigan go there on their bye week

This is the problem with a game that is arranged "ad hoc" it should be a fixed date in the calendar, and rotate from Aus to UK, so if you win the grand final you know when and where you are playing, gives fans a chance to plan etc. It sums up the whole attitude to international RL. its an afterthought
