What has happened to the best rule in the NRL its been a big success and clarifies mistakes by the referee ??

It caused its own problems ie doubts about those decisions and as such an infinite regress leading to a possible "argument absurdum"
No I think under the original rules where the referee's decision was final the matters were sufficiently clear and required no clarification!
