I was the first to buy one as Charlotte from the media department brought the first lot in & said “Josie you’re on the front page", so I bought one earlier in the afternoon. When I saw you I was buying a second one for my "away buddy"

I looked at the jacket too! £100!! I said sorry, no to that. Did you notice there wasn’t a price on it?

I’ve bought the three shirts even though I don’t like the away or the charity shirt

Yes I did notice that the jacket didn't have a price on it and feared the worst if im honest I had said to Gwen the most I'll pay is a £100 so with the season ticket discount it was even less,(bare with me man maths in action right here)I've been looking for a decent coat for the rugby and bingo there it was just the right seize so bingo, it has I now found out been spirited away to my sons who had tasked Gwen with buying me my Christmas present and bingo there we go its now my very nice Christmas present from number one son she was under orders not to come back with the new shirt as he always buys me the new short for Christmas so it all worked out in the end haha.

The book is a lovely moment of the season and well worth the money in my opinion add a nice mug, you can never have to many can you and a return visit for a new pair of gloves for gwen it was a nice haul this evening.

As for the event itself I just wish id have realised it was more of a fun day type event as id have brought my granddaughter, though she's worse than me in the shop I enjoyed the training sessions if im honest but thats just me Gwen had a catch up with Matty Smith so she was more than happy with the evening.

I had a chat with Matty Smith again, in fact on Monday when I saw him he asked me if I worked for the club now I’ve seen him almost every day since the day of the Grand Final send off, he was having the send off lunch with the players & their families. I asked him what was he doing here? He told me he was coming back but not to say anything as it wasn’t being announced for a week or so
I’ve never commented on any thing I’ve been told in confidence And sometimes I’m fit for bursting but have to bite my tongue
