Mason and McDermott join London on loan

* They will be eligible to play in the Betfred Challenge Cup for London this weekend.

TWO OF WARRIORS NEWLY PROMOTED YOUNG FORWARDS WILL JOIN LONDON BRONCOS ON A MONTH’S LOAN FROM TODAY.

Prop forward Kian McDermott and second rower Lukas Mason will travel to London today ahead of the Broncos’ fixture in the Betfred Challenge Cup fixture against Goole Vikings this Saturday, for which they will be eligible to play.

Both players are Academy Grand Final winners and were promoted to the first team squad for the 2025 season.

Warriors Transition coach John Duffy said: “This is an amazing opportunity for Kian and Lukas to progress their journey.

“They’ll work with a really good coach in Mike Eccles and will have the opportunity to play in a number of games against top Championship opposition over the coming four weeks.”
