Called in at the shop today, meant to go yesterday , there will not be anymore Vegas shirts available. They have apologised but they could only order so many with the budget they are allowed.
Sorry couldn’t be better news for those who haven’t managed to pre order one.
Hi Josie, thanks for the info.
Not aiming this at you but this seems very poor planning or foresight by the club and I don't really understand the budget allowed.
The purpose of selling shirts is to make a profit for the club and the club would need to commit to a certain amount of shirts to be manufactured, so yes I suspect the club will have to commit to a certain amount of revenue to the shirt maker, but when on pre-order why is it that the manufactures cant just make them more to order, if they are made overseas, which I suspect they are, factories can churn out thousands of garments per week, they are on a limited time period I understand that as most would want it for the game itself, but they should also know the lead times for manufacturing and delivery so could take pre-orders up to a certain date.

Thanks Jess
Who is Jess?
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

If they just order loads of shirts & they don’t sell them that’s money lost.
They still have World Club Challenge shirts which haven’t sold. So they are stuck between a rock & a hard place trying to please everyone

But on pre-order you have already bought the shirt and paid for it, and you could only manufacturing what you have sold.

Can’t help but feel this shirt is very niche so probably better to keep numbers low and sell out rather than as Josie says the world club challenge shirts that just didn’t sell
