I've always thought, between the two of them, that Bevan looked somehow more... durable? I think I looked up stats once that said they were both about the same height and weight, but I remember watching them both in the NRL, and I always though that Jai looked like he would be broken in half by some big forward, but I never had that feeling about Bevan.

It’d be a shame if he did leave but I have a feeling he will stay

I think the one thing that would go against him in a return down under would be his kick returns. He undoubtably has the skill and pace to break, but I think the amount he's falling before contact would be an issue for most teams.

Personally, I'd be more than happy to keep him here. His one on one cover tackles after a break, with his positioning is outstanding and he's rarely at fault when we concede. I think he's more suited to FB then Bev - they're about the same pace, but Jai seems to have more of an engine to cycle round and go again, and again, and again in attack. The number of times I've seen him be involved on one side of the pitch and then get right on his toes to cycle round to the other and be involved in creating an overlap is phenomenal and something I think he does better than anyone else in the league.

Jai is certainly an outstanding one-on-one defender. And we are so lucky to have them both.

I’d hate to lose either Bevan or Jai. But if pushed come to shove I’d be happier for Jai to go than Bevan. God help us if they both leave at the same time!!
