1934 Championship

Post by ancientnloyal »

https://www.ancientandloyal.com/1934-championship

14,500 words in a three part section on my website looking at the 1933/4 Championship winning season.

Wigan started poorly and were in dire straights coming up to Christmas, but the Wigan directors didn't give up hope of turning their fortunes around. Against all odds, Wigan rallied their way up the League and did the necessary over Gus Risman's Salford.

Words cannot describe how Great Jim Sullivan was.

Have a read! enjoy.

When are subscription renewals due Marc? Thank you 😊🏉🍒⚪️
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

At the minute Josie not looking at any renewals. Been busy behind the scenes on a few projects but hopefully we will be able to launch something in the summer and then think about where we go at the WRHS.

My personal ambition is to have a general RL society with museum but that’s a massive ask
