Not aiming this at you but this seems very poor planning or foresight by the club and I don't really understand the budget allowed.
The purpose of selling shirts is to make a profit for the club and the club would need to commit to a certain amount of shirts to be manufactured, so yes I suspect the club will have to commit to a certain amount of revenue to the shirt maker, but when on pre-order why is it that the manufactures cant just make them more to order, if they are made overseas, which I suspect they are, factories can churn out thousands of garments per week, they are on a limited time period I understand that as most would want it for the game itself, but they should also know the lead times for manufacturing and delivery so could take pre-orders up to a certain date.
If they just order loads of shirts & they don’t sell them that’s money lost.
They still have World Club Challenge shirts which haven’t sold. So they are stuck between a rock & a hard place trying to please everyone
But on pre-order you have already bought the shirt and paid for it, and you could only manufacturing what you have sold.
A lot of smaller rock bands do pre-orders for t-shirts, with only t-shirts printed to match the orders.
In this day and age, I have no idea why this couldn't be done for the rugby shirts.
P**s poor organisation.
I would imagine that they are on "pre-order" because they've been ordered from the manufacturer already, need to be sold by the club but will not arrive for a few weeks. We don't know the lead times on manufacture, not do we know the minimum order requirements for another batch. The manufacturer will not just be able to drop other committed production orders just to add another couple of hundred shirts from a minor customer, especially on a short term timetable.
The only thing I'd criticize the club for is the late design and release of a pre-order. However putting it out any earlier could have eaten into their major order of the 2025 kit, so some delay makes sense.
Overall it's better for an exclusive launch to seel out than the club to lose money on the whole idea. However, I'd still like one so anyone want to go on on an order for XLs from kappa? We probably need like 100 people to pay up front to get them to make one or something like that. Or maybe someone who changed their mind want to post it to me?

Thats an interesting idea, Mike, if its a possibility i'd be in.
On the pre-orders explanation, it seems reasonable. The one thing i'm puzzled by is the initial small number allowed for pre-orders.

Does anyone know when the Vegas shirts and training shirts will be sent out for delivery. It would be good to have them before the match
Mine was ready to pick up at the shop yesterday afternoon
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Out 2 arrived today, mine's a size smaller than my WCC shirt, but a better fit. Might even manage another size down for a home shirt. Will see what's left in the shop next week. Vegas shirt looks superb IMHO.
