Amidst all the complaints about ticketing, one nice little detail: went to the stadium today to buy a ticket for the Hull Cup game, and was pleased to hear that if you use your own seat as a STH, no need for a physical or digital ticket, they can just add it onto your ST card. Result!

And only a tenner too! But I thought ticket prices for Cup games were set by the RFL?

Can anybody confirm what 'moto 748' posted earlier about STH buying tickets for this game? I bought our tickets online and there was no information stating that they would be sent by email or post at a later date. Is it correct that they have magically been added to our plastic season tickets/access cards? If so, I'm impressed with the technology. If not, I'm confused and not for the first time.

If you logged in then looked for your reserved seat and booked that at the bottom of one of the screens I think that a ticked box with add to ST was the default option.

Yes they'll be automatically put on your season ticket plastic card. But you should also receive a email confirming your ticket booking.

And as I said upthread, I was told that this only applies if you are buying your 'own' seat as a STH. If that's been snapped up by someone else, presumably there's another arrangement, and they give you a physical ticket or email one.

Your season ticket seat can only be bought by someone else if you have failed to purchase it when they go on general sale.
