WIGAN WARRIORS JOIN WIGAN ATHLETIC AND THE REST OF OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY IN OFFERING OUR CONCERN OVER THE WHEREABOUTS OF MISSING DARREN ORME.
Darren was last seen in the Beech Hill Area on the evening of Wednesday 5 March wearing blue jeans, blue trainers, a navy-blue Wigan Athletic jumper, and a black gilet coat.
We would like to thank those who joined forces to search for Darren on Sunday morning, where it was demonstrated how our community is able to pull together in times of need.
Unfortunately, Darren has still not been located. We continue to offer our thoughts to those closest to Darren, and we continue to hope he is found safe and well very soon.
Wigan Warriors Chief Executive Kris Radlinski said: “Everyone in Wigan will know Darren – a familiar face seen each day walking up Beech Hill for his morning paper. Now, it’s our turn to show the strength of our community spirit and stand together in supporting his family and friends, hoping for a positive outcome.”
Darren is described as 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build, with short red/ginger hair. Anyone with any information about Darren’s whereabouts should contact the police on 0161 856 7390, 0161 856 7969 or 101, quoting logo 2423 of 06/032025.

Urgent appeal to help find Darren
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
