Debut for Canberra today. Scored 2 trys so far and really looks the part.
No wonder that Matty Peat was raging when he left us for Warrington.

He was raging about the way it was done.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

He was one of those players whoever he played for was going to use the club(s) as a stepping stone to go to the NRL to he’s not even yesterday man he barely registers in my mind as a Wigan player to be honest

Me neither! And I don’t think he is anything special in regard to the young players we have retained.

I have no issue with that sort of player,I will use KPP as the correct example on how to learn the game and better himself left Beonco’s the right way he saw out his Wigan deal getting better each week deal ended he went with all our best wishes the other type, the “billy big balls” type of player, can’t wait his turn (that will surely come) and has to bugger off to a “bigger” club funny when the news broke Nicholson was off to oz Burgess looked a bit miffed if I recall rightly but that’s the gamble signing him as he had form on leaving clubs.josie andrews wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 10:21 amMe neither! Well good luck to him I simply wouldn’t swap any of wigans current squad for him

I agree. I would have loved to have seen him on lay with Junior for the next 10 years.jobo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 11:46 amAnd also because Nicholson is a great player.
Re: Matty Nicholson
If he had stayed and made it into the first team would we bee seeing Nsemba and Walters now?
