Hmm, any bearing on Field's injury?
Hodgkinson is the long term replacement but needs a bit more experience.

What position would we be looking to play him though, fullback? but if Jai is fit then I doubt he would get a look in, in the halves? if French is fit then again he won't get a look in, I am all for having experienced back up if possible, but would Brierly be happy to sit on the side lines for most of the season if all are fit, i'm not sure he is that kind of player.

With Jai’s injury issues he may play a lot of gams.WarriorWinger wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 1:32 pm What position would we be looking to play him though, fullback? but if Jai is fit then I doubt he would get a look in, in the halves? if French is fit then again he won't get a look in, I am all for having experienced back up if possible, but would Brierly be happy to sit on the side lines for most of the season if all are fit, i'm not sure he is that kind of player.

I guess he could, but we don't know anything about his injury as yet, it may just need a week off who knows, if so will Brierly sit on the side lines and wait until either Jai/Bevan are injured or maybe need a rest, it may be a lot of waiting around for him, plus he would want to come here to win trophies, I suspect no player want's to be sat on the sidelines when a final comes around, I am not saying it is not a good move as he would be great cover, but not sure if I was him, I would want to sit behind talents like Field and FrenchCharriots Offiah wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 2:48 pmWith Jai’s injury issues he may play a lot of gams.WarriorWinger wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 1:32 pm What position would we be looking to play him though, fullback? but if Jai is fit then I doubt he would get a look in, in the halves? if French is fit then again he won't get a look in, I am all for having experienced back up if possible, but would Brierly be happy to sit on the side lines for most of the season if all are fit, i'm not sure he is that kind of player.

I’d take Tim lafai first, he could cover centre and wing options
Don’t know why everyone raves about macdonald, and I don’t think his attitude would fit in with Wigan
