Some friends told me it cost over $500 for fast food for 3 adults & 2 children & a drink each!
Even Tyler Dupree had a moan about the prices. He went to see the Grand Canyon said it cost him $60 just to look at a big hole in the ground![]()
The $500 is not right! It is pricy over here though. You're staring at $20 for a sandwich at lunchtime.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

We ate and drank very well but got nowhere near those costs. An afternoon in the rock house bar, plenty beers , 2 burgers and change from $100.00. Helps to be nice to wait staff and tip early. A few beers didn’t appear on our bill ……

If he paid $60 to see the Grand Canyon he got a good deal . If he considered the Grand Canyon just a big hole in the ground why did he go in the first place what did he think he was going to see ? Couldn't have been very motivated to see one of the wonders of the world. Could have went to see Cas on a wet Friday night if he wanted to see a hole in the ground lol.josie andrews wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 3:47 pmI’m not saying it wasn’t their choice. The worst I experienced while there was when we went to the ice hockey the night after the rugby and it was £18 per beer
Most places I found usual “city” prices + a little bit
In the casinos if you sat on a machine a $1 tip would get you a beer so there were ways around the system

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

They can take a game to Timbuktu for all I care so long as long suffering majority of Wigan season tickets don’t lose out,yet again on a home game
