I'm hearing that the deal was for the land and not the club of which they have absolutely no interest. There will be flats on the site of the ground within 5 years and Salford playing at Salford FC in the championship

Looking a definite possibility, but there's still the Sale interest in the stadium to take into account. My Google skills might be lacking, but just had a quick look and couldn't see anything about them being overly concerned at the moment, unless they're just sticking their heads above the parapet
