Sunday match
Re: Sunday match
I just watched the Saints game on i-player. it was rather bizarre. Kev Brown (was it?) kept referencing Tommy Makinson, even though he doesn't play for Saints any more. Then they started listing 'rugby league on the BBC'. Obviously, the fact that i-player are screening the Wigan/Salford game tomorrow night is a State secret, cos they didn't mention it. Then some Scottish guy at half-time was banging on the 'TMO', so I guess he was Union bloke. Just symptomatic.

I watched the game on sky and don’t what their commentary was good, for a change cracking game to boot as for the bbc they really need firing off their coverage is at best poor and at worst inept.moto748 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 10:54 pm I just watched the Saints game on i-player. it was rather bizarre. They don’t seem to want to have the sport so let the rights go and perhaps it’ll go to a company that can do the sport justice

I was trying to watch catalan v saints yesterday. We have virgin tv with the full sky sports package. On the guide it said it was on sky sports + , when we put that on it was football.
tried ringing virgin who were about as useful as a chocolate fire guard. we are tech dinosaurs and therefore didn't get to watch the game. Can anyone explain how to watch these games in future please?
Thanks for any help.

I think when you are on the channel, you press the red button, wait and eventually a selection of game options loads

There is one plus for me in this (which I would never have realised but for coming on here). The missus wants to go for a walk this afternoon - Mother’s Day so she decides what’s what - and you can’t record sky +, so at least I can record it/watch it tonight.
Re: Sunday match
Thanks for that mate. Maybe I will ring Virgin to let their people, who are there to help you, know how it works.Raging Penguin wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 10:09 am I think when you are on the channel, you press the red button, wait and eventually a selection of game options loads

Re: Sunday match
I see that Farrimond is playing for the reserves so it looks likely that Jai is back today. I was looking forward to seeing Jack play and perhaps a couple more youngsters but Matty seems to have gone with his strongest available squad. I Hope it's not a risk too far with Jai. Perhaps the thought of a no game next weekend has influenced Matty's thinking.

Nsemba is sublime: vision, awareness, footwork, strength, speed - he has them all. Hope we can keep hold of him, but, if he goes to the NRL, we should ask for £millions.
