Taken from RL fans apparently
Re: Taken from RL fans apparently
Looking at stats in a bit more detail, there's some other interesting trends, other than discipline. In 2024, the number of red cards was an all-time high, as were yellows, with nearly twice as many yellows as in 2023! Also, the second-lowest scoring season, although that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Re: Taken from RL fans apparently
21 red cards in SL last season, 3 in the NRL.

I wonder if this is punishment for voting against Woods return.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Harry Smith’s certainly not any “grub” or dirty player. He’s very small which maybe makes him take some risks, putting his body on the line in stopping bigger bodies. This could mean he loses the correct technique in tackling these bigger players, often making it look far worse than it actually was.
Re: Taken from RL fans apparently
Oh, absolutely, I agree with that. Playing in his position, Harry has big guys running at him, as all halves do. You expect halves to concede a fair few penalties; I'm sure Cam Munster does.Nezza Faz wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 10:52 pmHarry Smith’s certainly not any “grub” or dirty player. I seem to remember Harry losing his cool at times last season. Lots of niggly penalties at the PTB and some chat back to the ref. Other than that he's not a dirty player and he did seem to get a grip when it mattered at the end of the season.
